Description
A perfect-bound second-hand copy of Dracula’s Guest and Other Stories by Bram Stoker, re-covered in bold red goat leather with faux raised bands on the spine and matte midnight-black book cloth on the front and back cover. The edges have been decorated with period appropriate red speckles that bring to mind blood splatter. The end papers are beautiful hand marbled papers by Jemma Lewis Marbling.
The interior spine has been lined with vintage marbled paper and inscribed with the year of (re) binding and a quote from Dracula’s Guest: “The dead travel fast.”
NB: This is a collection of Bram Stoker’s less famous ghost stories, including Dracula’s Guest, which many believe to be part of an earlier first chapter draft of Dracula that did not make it into the final story. Due to the second hand nature of the main text the paper of the text block will show signs of age.
