Book your own class in Anachronalia’s Leeds workshop for 1-6 attendees!
Prices start at £30 for 1 hr of 121 tuition, bespoke classes will vary depending on what you are looking to learn and materials. Email for further details and available dates.

Drop-In Sessions in The Anachronalia Bindery. Informal self-led access to the bindery. Pre-booking only. £10. Select Wednesdays between 13:00 and 19:00 March-Dec. 2024 Mar/Apr dates now live.


Sunday 31st Mar 10-16:00: Sherwood Forest Artisans Fair – Sherwood Forest Visitor’s Centre. Trading and Bookbinding History demonstration.


Sunday 7th Apr 13:30-16:30: Miniature Bookbinding – Fabrication York, 19 Coney St, York YO1 9QL. £35 a ticket, Max 8 participants. All the fun of bookbinding, but in miniature. Suitable for beginners.

Sunday 9th Jun 13:00-16:00: 16th-Century Style Sketchbook/Vatican Limp Binding – Fabrication York, 19 Coney St, York YO1 9QL. £30 a ticket, Max 6 participants. For beginners and intermediate crafters.


Sunday 16th Jun 10:00-17:30: Working With Fabric – Making Cloth Covered Books – Fabrication Studios, Hereford House, 6 Edward St, Leeds LS2 7NT. £70 a ticket, max 8 participants. Suitable for beginners but some craft experience useful.


Wednesday 3rd Jul 10.30-19.00 & Thursday 4th Jul 10.30-18.00: International Medieval Congress Medieval Craft Fair Trading, with a selection of historically-inspired books and stationery, including one-off creations. On Thursday I will also be demonstrating Medieval Binding Techniques and handling models.


Saturday 20th Jul 13:00-16:30: Make your own vintage style notebook – Fabrication York, 19 Coney St, York YO1 9QL. £40 a ticket, Max 6 participants. For beginners and intermediate. A vintage twist on the modern case binding.
