Book your own class in Anachronalia’s Leeds workshop for 1-6 attendees!
Prices start at £30 for 1 hr of 121 tuition, bespoke classes will vary depending on what you are looking to learn and materials. Email for further details and available dates.
Drop-In Sessions in The Anachronalia Bindery. Currently on hold due to other projects. 121 or booked group sessions are unaffected.

Bind and Unwind – Bookbinding Meet-up
Monthly informal meetup (not a class though bringing things to work on is encouraged) – come meet other people interested in bookbinding and related activities, or just to ask questions you might have about bookbinding in an informal setting.
The next Bind and Unwinds will be at the Leeds Library on Commercial Street, Leeds. Aug 20th, Sept 17th and Oct 8th. If you are not a member of the Leeds Library: To enter, press the intercom at the main entrance to speak to reception and let them know you are attending Bind & Unwind and they will let you in and direct you to the room we are in. For level access to the library, the entrance and intercom is between Ann Summers and Bird & Blend.
Sat 22nd August 10:30-16:00: Book Repair Class – Cloth bound case bindings at The Leeds Library, 18 Commercial Street, Leeds, LS1 6AL. Learn to repair your case bound book cloth covered books.
Fri 11th September 10:30-16:00: Bind your own chap book Drop-in activity as part of Heritage Open Days. Fabrication York, 14 Feasegate.
Sat-Sun 12th/13th Sept 10:30-16:00: Leeds Open Studios at Fabrication 2 and Bind your own chap book Heritage Open Days drop-in activity.
Sat 19th September 10:30-16:00: Transform your favourite read at The Leeds Library, 18 Commercial Street, Leeds, LS1 6AL. Learn all the steps needed to rebind your favourite paperback book into a hardback binding.
Sat 26th September 11:00-16:00: Chethams Medieval Faire Anachronalia will be trading alongside other medieval inspired traders in the grounds of the historic Chethams Library in Manchester. Free entry.
Mon-Fri 5th-9th October: Make your own Medieval-style Girdle Book at The Leeds Library. Suitable for confident beginners and intermediate to advanced bookbinders. A week-long course making a girdle book from scratch. Includes woodworking with Fiftyeleven Cabinetry and metal clasp making with Amy Stringer Designs.
